The Creole Cocktail

Wednesday, December 21, 2022
With the winter cold coming down, having another bourbon cocktail in the arsenal seems forward-thinking to me. Originating from New York and made from the love of New Orleans, the Creole Cocktail can be described as a cross between a Manhattan and an Old Fashion but with a herbal twist.

Ingredients

2 oz. bourbon
1 oz. sweet vermouth
0.5 oz. Bénédictine liqueur
0.5 oz. maraschino liqueur
Lemon peel

Instructions

Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add the bourbon, sweet vermouth, Bénédictine liqueur and maraschino liqueur.
Stir well to chill.
Strain into a coupe glass.
Garnish with the lemon peel.
